Welcome!  My name is Karen Rodd and I am the owner of the Kinderdance® franchise for Frederick and Montgomery Counties in Maryland.  I am married to an 
amazing man and have two adorable boys.  I have a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Upstate and worked as an Accountant for 10 years before finding Kinderdance®.  I was trained at 
corporate headquarters in Melbourne, FL and personally supervised by Carol Kay Harsell, the founder of Kinderdance® International.  I received my certifications 
and attend annual Continuing Education Conferences in Melbourne, FL.  I loved dance as a child and even continued dance classes as an adult, but thought my 
dreams of teaching dance were just that...a dream.  Then I found the Kinderdance® family and knew this was a business I had to be a part of.  I absolutely love working with children and am so blessed to be able to put a smile 
on the face of a precious little one each day I teach a class.
